Pydio is an open source file sharing and synchronization platform that includes features such as file versioning, file sharing, and file encryption. Pydio can be installed on-premises or hosted in the cloud, and includes mobile and desktop clients for easy file access and sharing.
Pydio also uses a web server and database but additionally offers support for a variety of different storage backends including local file systems, FTP, S3-compatible storage services, and more. The file transfer is performed via HTTP(S), and Pydio supports chunked uploads to handle large files.
